MateOnAcceptance of These Terms
By creating an account or using MateOn, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. MateOn is operated by POLPROG. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Who Can Use MateOn
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. MateOn helps arrange activities with other people, sometimes in person, so it is intended for adults only. You agree to use the app in line with all laws that apply to you.
Account and Sign-In
You sign in through Apple, Google, or Facebook. You are responsible for keeping access to that provider account secure and for activity that happens under your MateOn account. Provide accurate profile information and keep it current. One person, one account.
Acceptable Use
MateOn only works if people feel safe and respected. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other people
- Post unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or misleading content
- Use MateOn for commercial solicitation, spam, or scams
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions
- Collect or share other users' information without their consent
- Interfere with, probe, or attempt to break the service
Breaking these rules can lead to content removal, suspension, or permanent removal from MateOn.
Content You Share
You own the profile details, photos, and messages you create. By sharing them on MateOn, you grant us a limited license to host and display that content to other users as needed to run the service. You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to share it.
Meeting People in Person
MateOn does not verify users or run background checks. You are solely responsible for your interactions. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and trust your instincts. If someone makes you uncomfortable, block and report them in the app.
You interact with other people at your own risk. POLPROG is not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline.
Reports, Suspension, and Termination
You can report or block any user from the app. We review reports and may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put others at risk. You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may also discontinue features or the service, with notice where reasonable.
Disclaimer of Warranties
MateOn is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will lead to any particular match or outcome.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, POLPROG is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of MateOn, including interactions with other users. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version at this URL with a revised date, and where changes are significant we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use MateOn after an update means you accept the revised terms.
